The tipi's canvas and wooden pole structure creates a warm, intimate atmosphere that benefits enormously from upgraded sound and lighting, the venue includes a basic PA and disco ball as standard, but couples regularly upgrade to a premium DJ setup with intelligent production lighting. The open-sided character of the tipi means sound requires careful management to minimise bleed into the surrounding countryside, and generator or dedicated power supply confirmation is essential at the planning stage.
Our Spectacle or Diamond package is the natural fit for The Firs. The tipi's warm, boho aesthetic responds beautifully to festoon-style uplighting, amber and warm-toned intelligent lighting, and a rustic Heritage wooden DJ booth. Cold spark fountains are spectacular in the tipi space, and our dancing-on-clouds dry ice effect works particularly well here, with the canvas sides containing the low-lying mist for a stunning first dance.
