What sizes are your LED dance floors available in?
Our LED dance floors range from 12ft x 12ft for intimate receptions to 20ft x 20ft for larger celebrations. We recommend a size based on guest numbers and room dimensions. As a guide, a 16ft x 16ft floor suits around 100 dancing guests. We confirm the fit with your venue.
Is a starlit dance floor the same as an LED dance floor?
A starlit dance floor is one type of LED dance floor. Ours uses a pristine white surface with hundreds of twinkling LED lights beneath it. The effect resembles dancing on a field of stars, especially under atmospheric lighting. Colour-changing LED floors are a different, bolder look we also offer.
How long does it take to install a dance floor at a venue?
A typical LED dance floor installs in around one to two hours, depending on size. We fit it before guests arrive, never inside your reception time. Each panel locks together over a level base for a seamless surface. We coordinate timings with your venue coordinator in advance.
Are LED dance floors safe for all venue types?
Yes, our LED dance floors are PAT tested, low-profile, and edged with bevelled trims to prevent trips. The interlocking panels create a stable, non-slip surface suitable for barns, marquees, and hotels. They run on standard venue power. We assess your floor and access before every Worcestershire booking.
Can a dance floor be installed on an uneven surface?

Can we hire a dance floor as part of a DJ package?

Do the LED lights sync to the music?
No, the LED lights don't sync or flicker in time to the music. They run a twinkling effect throughout your reception, creating that starlit look rather than reacting to individual beats.
Can the floor display a custom design, monogram or our names?
Yes, we can project a custom monogram onto the floor. We don't offer stick-on monograms or decals, as these can damage the floor's surface, but a projected design gives you that personalised look without any risk to the floor.
Are drinks allowed on the dance floor?
No, drinks aren't permitted on the dance floor. This helps keep the surface and the electrical contacts underneath safe and in good working order throughout your reception.
Can the dance floor be installed on carpet?
Yes, our dance floor can be installed on carpet. As with any surface, it doesn't need to be perfectly even, our panel and base system absorbs small variations.
Can we hire the dance floor without booking your DJ?
Yes, our dance floor is available as a standalone booking and doesn't need to be part of a DJ package.
Can the dance floor be used outdoors or in a marquee?
Yes, our dance floor can be used outdoors and in marquees, and runs from a standard 13-amp socket as with any of our setups. One important thing for marquee weddings specifically: the ground underneath needs to be level. If it isn't, the panel contacts at the sides of the dance floor won't connect properly, and the lights won't come on. We'll always assess your ground and advise on levelling if needed before your date.
