The Fox inn is a lovely country pub on the outskirts of Worcester at the bridge of Bransford over the river Teme. The village of Bransford is a beautiful rural village set on the banks of the Worcestershire river teme.
The pub is a warm and inviting stone and brick building with rustic wooden beams, which has been in the village since 1884. The restaurant serves a good selection of gastro-style food.
Local buildings surround this historic county inn.
Only metres away are the Grade II listed 19th-century buildings of Bransford Mill.
The adjacent Bransford House has a notable attractive hipped tile roof.
The public house and restaurant sit alongside the River Teme, a designated site of particular scientific interest. All the bridges across this river include one by the renowned Thomas Telford.
All these things add up to make The Fox Inn an ideal location for delicious pub food.
At the rear of the pub, you will find the converted barn, which has been transformed into a fantastic multi-purpose function suite. It is a beautifully modern event space furnished to a very high standard. The venue is available to hire for a wide range of events, including weddings, birthdays, christenings, corporate events, meetings, conferences and more. The barn was opened to the public for hire in 2021.
The room can hold up to 200 people for a wedding or birthday party. It has facilities such as a built-in sound system, microphone, dancefloor, projector and projection screen.
