Cookley Village Hall

In the Worcestershire village of Cookley, you will find the charity-run Cookley Village Hall and Sports Club. Situated 3 miles north of Kidderminster,

 

The Hall, as a private hire function room, can comfortably accommodate up to 122 people seated and a maximum of 200 people for an evening event.

 

The building consists of a Village Hall with a vast stage, a sports club with a lounge bar and a snooker room. It also has two meeting rooms. The village hall is available to hire for weddings, anniversaries, christenings and birthday parties, funeral wakes and other private functions. It is also perfect for plays, shows and fundraising events. 

 

It is also available for hire regularly. It is suitable for meetings and sports activities such as circuit training, yoga, Zumba and table tennis. 

 

The main Hall is approximately 15.5 x10 metres with a staging area of 50m2 . It can seat up to 200 people theatre-style and 100 people for functions. The Hall has its own fully equipped bar and adjoining seated area, which doubles as a second meeting room with separate access via hatch to a kitchen to serve refreshments. 

 

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven, fridge, crockery, cutlery, etc. The kitchen is available for private use or professional caterers and has a small oven and fridge. The stove is not for complete food preparation but can be used for re-heating. 

 

The Hall opens onto a veranda which overlooks the bowling green. 

 

Meeting Room 1 & Internet cafe seats 12 for conference meetings or 16 in classroom style. Meeting Room 2 is 35m2 and will seat 20 around a conference table or 30 in classroom style. It is equipped with an overhead projector linked to the internet or television. 

There is ample car parking adjacent to the Hall. The village church is very close by.
